I have developed and honed my candid street photography process in Istanbul. Walking against the stream of the crowd, I shoot these unposed portraits on the go, thus immortalizing the faces of passers-by who have dropped the mask of self-representation. These photographs are records of painless collisions on the course of multiple trajectories and gazes both characterized by vacancy (the subjects) or invisible intrusion (I, the photographer).
